Our dedication to the Country
Feeding stray and abandoned dogs is an act of compassion that contributes to both animal welfare and community well-being. Many street dogs suffer from hunger, malnutrition, and illness due to a lack of regular food sources. By organizing food distribution for them, we help improve their health, reduce aggression caused by hunger, and prevent them from scavenging through harmful waste.
Regular feeding also builds trust between humans and animals, making it easier for future rescue, vaccination, and sterilization efforts. This, in turn, helps control the stray dog population in a humane way. Providing food isn't just about filling stomachs—it's about creating a more caring and responsible society for all living beings.
At My Karma Foundation, we believe that compassion knows no boundaries—not even species. Under our dedicated initiative SVANA SEVA, we provide food and care to stray and abandoned dogs across various areas including Sion, Chembur, Kurla, Dadar, and many more parts of Mumbai. Every day, countless street dogs suffer in silence, struggling to find even a single meal. Many are malnourished, sick, and neglected. Through SVANA SEVA, our team and volunteers hit the streets regularly, carrying home-cooked or vet-approved food, feeding these voiceless lives with love and respect. This initiative is not just about feeding—it’s about healing. Regular nourishment reduces aggressive behavior, improves their health, and strengthens their trust in humans. It also lays the foundation for further efforts like sterilization and vaccinations, helping control the stray population in a humane and sustainable way.
We’ve seen tails wag with joy and eyes light up with gratitude. That’s the impact of SVANA SEVA—a small act of kindness creating ripples of change.
Because at My Karma Foundation, every life matters, and every paw deserves care.
